Footed plate with hagi glaze over on sale wax resist and dark slip. (Banana not included.)

This plate was formed on the potter's wheel. When it had dried to leather-hard, I applied wax-resist decoration to it and then dipped it into a dark slip, which only adhered to the areas without the resist. When fully dry, the piece was then bisque fired. It then was glaze fired with a bubbly hagi glaze.
This plate is both decorative and functional.
It does have potter's stamps on the underside, but they are obscured by the on sale slip and glaze.
