This pagan prayer beads set or witches' ladder is 21" (53cm) long and has been handcrafted with rose quartz points, cats eye gemstones, glass pearls and white jade with the Goddesses Minerva & Athena in mind.

Minerva & Athena are Goddesses of wisdom closely associated with the owl. In Celtic mythology owls were often associated with wisdom, intuitive knowledge and protection.

These wiccan prayer beads feature an artisan decoupage owl charm (36x23mm) and hold a number of different charms including flowers, hearts and Celtic on sale knots with a little white jade owl attached to the opposite end.

I've separated each set of beads with a endless Celtic knot charm representing eternity.

Rose Quartz carries a soft feminine energy of compassion, peace and comfort. It is a stone of the heart and unconditional love.

White Jade is thought to channel passion in constructive ways and harmonize dysfunctional relationships.

Cat's Eye is a grounding stone thought to bring confidence, happiness, serenity and good luck.

Witches ladders or pagan prayer beads are used for spell casting, focusing spiritual energies and meditation. My design here holds 40 beads divided by numbers 3, 7, 9 and 21 - numbers I've chosen for their magickal and spiritual significance.

All of my prayer beads are highly tactile - they are made with smooth, cool gemstones, textured metal filigrees, shiny glazed ceramics and hard antiqued silver.

You will find that certain colours and themes resonate the strongest with you - if you follow your instincts you will be drawn to the right pieces for you.

ABOUT THE SECRET CHARM
I am a Self Representing Artist in Jewellery Design (SRAJD #4067) living by the sea in the Highlands of Scotland, drawing inspiration from my beautiful surroundings, the nature within it, and from the many fascinating myths and legends of Celtic folklore.
