This is a new item but it needs a chip replacement where the firmware is stored in order to work. I'm pretty sure my on sale dad was in the middle of upgrading and didn't finish causing it to block. I was told this by a expert the preamps n such are all functional I really don't know anything about it it was my dad's. Any questions pm me thank you.
