on sale Antique 16.5" Vase Japanese Samurai Warrior Scenes, Satsuma? Moriage on Yellow Clay, Handmade, Signed. Large Samurai Warriors on both sides. Lovely hand-painted work all over. This vase is quite tall, heavy and made of a somewhat coarse yellow clay with a very finely crackled glaze. Signature in the base is not legible. One handle has a very old and sturdy repair. Interior clean. Gold is worn from upper part of handles. Foot is hollow. Completely handmade, this most likely dates from 1900-1915. 16.5" tall, 8" at widest point, base approx. 5". Weighs 4.5lbs.
