This is an absolutely beautiful lidded pan. It is used to cook and serve in. It is hand forged copper with tin lining and brass handles on sale and finial. I've seen these listed as French roasting pans, casseroles...

It is about 16 inches wide with its handles, just over 12 and 3/4 inches in diameter, 5 and 1/2 inches tall with its lid. Just the bottom is 2 and 5/8 inches tall. It is about 4 and 1/2 pounds.

This dish is in rustic condition with some wear and a beautiful patina. It is hand forged and primitive. It will need to be polished and given some TLC before it can be used.
