I adore these vintage knits. You don't see these often anymore and when you do most are replicas.

I have two of these true vintage heavy knit throws. These date to the early 1940's. - both were specially made for an old cottage to lay over the beds. They vary ever so slightly in measurements to accommodate the old double beds.

White in color, whole cotton with scalloped edges on all 4 sides. 3 sides have 3" cotton hand woven fringe. I love that these have three way fringing - they are the only ones I've ever seen constructed this way. It makes them very decorative and very versatile. The hand stitched craftsmanship depicts such charm that you can see anywhere they are displayed.

These can be used almost anywhere from a sofa throw, bed or even a table.

Each measures aprox 95 x 55 and 90 x 55". That does not include the 3" fringe trim work.

These are true vintage blankets and may show signs of wear and previous love consistent with age and use. These have weight to them and separation of cotton in some areas are typical and should be expected. They come from a clean - smoke free home.
