An elegant bentwood ring, crafted from Walnut wood, with the central band made from crushed pearl inlay, framed by Brass bands on both sides.
This design is approximately 8mm wide; a simple yet elegant band inlaid with crushed white pearls.
All of my rings are finished with several layers of water resistant CA coating protecting the wood, and buffed to give each piece a high gloss finish.
Each design can be further customized. In case you have a specific look in mind, I can craft rings from wide range of woods and materials, so don't hesitate to contact me, I am certain you won't be disappointed.
When ordering a ring, be sure to know your exact ring size. The more precise measurements, the better the fit. In case you are not certain about your size in the US size drop down menu used on Etsy, below is a helpful link with accurate size conversions: 'www.onlineconversions.com/ring_size.htm'
Each item will be ready to be shipped within 2 to 3 weeks of placing the order. The shipping times may vary, depending on your location; customers within EU can expect their rings tad sooner than customers in the US.
In the unfortunate case the ring you ordered does not fit (it is advisable to have your ring size measured by a professional, or two), additional adjustments can be made, within certain limits. Given the nature of the materials used, the rings can be made only slightly bigger or smaller (approx. 1/4 of US size), Any changes bigger than that mean that a new ring will have to be crafted.
Depending on the orders already in place, that may take additional 1-2 weeks, as if a new order was taken (plus the shipping time).
**************************************************************
I pride myself on making sure each ring I craft is flawless and made to last. Bentwood rings are quite durable, often more so than rings that are simply carved, but they should still be treated with care (and love).
Although the CA finish I apply makes them water on sale resistant, it doesn't mean the rings are indestructible. Prolonged exposure to water, heat or chemicals may, over time, lead to degradation of the finish, and eventually may damage the wooden core of the ring itself.
If the ring becomes dirty, simply wipe it with paper towel and water. Soap, abrasives or alcohol are not needed and, on contrary, could damage the finish.
If, with wear, the ring starts losing its shine, wipe it clean, make sure it is dry, and then buff it with clear or polishing wax
