Vintage Souvenir or costume doll boy and girl in German national costume. The dolls in celluloid. They are a matched pair as the girl has moulded stockings and shoes and the boy removable socks and shoes.

The girl with handpainted features and blue eyes, very light blond hair with two side plaits, wearing a pale blue brocade dress, cap and pocket with black velvet ribbon trim, white lawn petticoat and white lawn drawers with hearts at the knee, all clothing non-removable. on sale As the clothing is fixed we are unable to see if the doll is marked.

The boy with mohair wig, handpainted features, the blue eyes looking to the side. Wearing, shortsleeved shirt, black ribbon tie, felt waistcoat, knee breaches, socks and removable shoes. The waistcoat, socks and shoes are removable, other clothing fixed.

The girl 22.5cm tall. In inches 8 7/8"

The girl in overall very good condition. The boy looking a little rumpled with flaking to the coloring on his face.
