Viking/medieval dress and apron READY to SHIP (in on sale certain sizes)

Only the olive green, rust, and orchid costumes in the pictures are ready to ship. Other sizes and colors are only available as a custom order. Unfortunately we are incredibly busy, so the wait is about SIX WEEKS. Custom orders WILL NOT arrive in time for Halloween.

This Viking/medieval dress is available in any color combination. The bottom layer in the first pictures is a simple gray cotton underdress, the apron is olive green cotton. The dress is roomy all the way down, the apron is fitted in the bust and very full from hips to mid calf. The red apron can be worn over the simple cream underdress, or the green kirtle, or both. The purple dress with blue trim goes with a navy apron. We're in the process of making a lot of these, trim and accessory options available. The dresses pictured here are available to ship now in the sizes above, or as custom orders in any size.

We do the aprons as close to the "real thing" as possible, but as there are no surviving research examples, we have to guess on shapes based on some very rudimentary 10th century drawings. The gray and cream underdresses are full (80" hem), but have no extra gores. They also have higher necklines with invisible hook or tie at the neck. The green and orchid dresses have wider necklines that are open a bit at front, and can have neckline trim. They also have gores (triangular skirt panels) in the center front and back for extra fullness. They can be worn with or without aprons.

All these pieces pull over the head. For a less historically on sale accurate fit, we can do grommets, hooks, or an invisible zipper in the apron. In real life, Viking ladies "squish" into the apron, but if you're not picky about historical accuracy, we can add a Zipper or lace-up to anything.
