This is a lovely find, a on sale fine pewter sugar bowl which must have some silver content as the colour is rather light as pictured. It has a lovely French style and is in wonderful condition, there is no damage anywhere. Traditionally the French serve only sugar cubes at the table, so the sugar bowls do not have the little space for a spoon as tongs are used and always on the table.
This is a lovely decorative and very useful object.
