on sale Outlander's heroine, Claire, has become famous for her shawls. This shawl or Sontag, as crossover shawls were known as, is a simple workday shawl.

This one is hand-knit in a pearl gray blended wool. It can be pinned or tied in the back, although Claire often sticks the ends into a belt in the back.
