These panniers can be either made with a stiff nylon mesh, or a plain cotton drill. The nylon mesh is very firm in itself, can hold its shape better than cotton and is a hardier material. It is also see through, and comes with velvet or metallic boning channels - it is gorgeous and great to show off. The 100% cotton versions are classic, with cotton tape channels.
These are boned with a very stiff plastic boning, but metal flat steel is available on request. The plastic boning is extraordinarily stiff, is significantly lighter than the metal alternative, and is reminiscent of what professional theater costumes utilise.
As you may be able to guess from the name, these pocket hoops can also function as pockets. The nylon mesh pockets especially are see through, and you'll be able to let your creativity run free with what you can put inside.
