I set the Opal with hand braided thread in adjustable length (tight moveable wrap). The longest length is 28 cm 11 inches, and you can close it as small as you like. The model is wrist size 15cm 6" to give an idea.

The Boulder Opal is from Yowah in Queensland. Norm had a lease called "the fence" in Yowah in 1994. He found a beautiful pocket of Opal and we still have some of this material. One day it will end and we are truly enjoying getting them slowly out to the world. If you observe my work closely you will be able to pick "fence" pieces as they are very specific in colour. You find this orange Opal potch and particular design that words find hard to describe.

My beautiful man Norm found, cut & drilled the stone, and I did the setting work. A co-creation of love.
