Okay, so we have prints of forest baby animals, trees, and plants. Other squares in this collection are of raindrops, weeds, and woodgrains. Colors include shades of blue, green, yellow, orange-red, and brown.
I used an aqua blue solid cotton on the back. Then on the edge I made the binding from several coordinating solids because I just couldn't make up my mind which to use. The fabric is 100% cotton, I use 100% cotton quilting thread, and my batting is the WARM & NATURAL brand which is 100% cotton.
This size works well for tummy time, stroller use, and car seats. Later it will become a security blanket for some.
This is a homemade quilt, which means it does not look like a quilt off a computerized, industrial machine. There will be variations in the quilting pattern with tiny imperfections. All cotton quilts will get that on sale vintage, crinkle look after you wash it. They get softer with time. I have a relative still using a quilt I made in 1985. They are made to last.
Machine wash cold. Tumble dry or line dry.
