Antique German Wachtersbach Dry Goods Canisters, Nudeln (Noodles) and Gerste (Barley), Old Worlde, Blue and White, Delft Blue, Set of 2, Signed, Windmills and Sailboats

These rare treasures are reminiscent of Delft Blue with its blue and white windmill and sailboat design. These canisters were manufactured between 1900 and 1920. Both pieces have an impressed beehive mark and an underglaze blue mark on the bottom and are numbered 300 -1/4. They are the same size as their original lid with no discernable damage.

PLEASE NOTE: There are gradations of discoloration at the base after decades of service in various kitchens and a small chip on the sailboat side of the Noodles canister. There is a small chip on the inside of the Barley canister. Please see all photos. If you are a blue and white collector or have a fondness for old-world decor, this is the listing for you. Hand wash only.
