Set of four antique french aesthetic movement teal blue transferware deep plates made of ironstone. Used traditionaly as soup plates, they can also be used for pasta or salad. They are stamped with Badonviller marks and the model is called 'Ecran' (screen) for the different little landscapes and nature vignettes that are stamped throughout the design. They are a very unique set which is a beautiful teal blue and the background color is an ivory / off white color.
Condition : Vintage with some signs of use and time. One bowl has a good size chip on the underside near the edge. It is not really noticeable from top or side of bowl (please see photos 8 and 9). One of the plates is a little lighter transfer impression (photo 6 and 7)
