This is a very large, heavy charm bracelet. It is clunky and chunky. Circa 1940 glass charm and naturally antiqued brass bracelet has six charms. Each charm is 1 inch large and heavy solid glass. Each have antiqued brass filigree caps and hold a hollow .25 inch brass ball. It fits an average to large woman's size at 8 inches. The bracelet as a whole is in excellent condition but shows wear after eighty years of love. The thick chain is cable style and solid. The closure is a toggle and original to the bracelet. It is a typical very early cocktail style.

The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
