This story doll has been around for generations. Even in this electronic age, a simple story told to a child and reinforced with this four-dolls-in-one is magical to a child. Perfect for cuddle time, the toy shows Goldilocks in her bonnet and dress at the start; the doll flips over to reveal under Goldilocks' dress is Momma Bear with Baby Bear hiding in her apron. Standing behind Momma Bear is Poppa Bear wearing a snappy bow tie. For safety, the plastic wiggle eyes have been stitched onto the dolls with doubled thread and knotted after each stitch. Bears' noses on sale are hand stitched same as the eyes; Baby Bear's nose is embroidered. Goldilocks' facial features and the bears' tongues are glued-on felt. Stuffing is polyester fiberfill. Goldilocks' bonnet is removable; Baby Bear comes out of Momma Bear's apron. Other than those features, this toy is constructed as one piece. While the toy is machine washable, the felt pieces likely will come off and could be reglued. If washed, this toy can be dried in the dryer like normal clothing. Doll measures 15 inches in length and 6 inches wide at bears' head.
