This vintage hair barrette is not too small and not too large, but it has great presence. The sterling silver foundation is stamped with traditional designs, the center domed and edges scalloped. The piece is likely from the 1970's to the 1980's. That clasp was added onto the sterling silver piece itself, which was made by an artist with a T hallmark, which may be Navajo Florence Tahe. However, another Navajo artist used the same style of T, and that was Mary T. Thomas. Both produced stamped sterling silver jewelry. Measures approximately 3" on sale across by 1-1/4" tall.
