Hi there, lovely caterpillar-lover!
This is an on sale original painting, created by me, of a delightfully chunky monarch caterpillar perched on a milkweed stem. This was done using acrylic paints on watercolor paper, measures approximately 10" x 8" inches and it comes sealed with a glossy protective coat. The caterpillar featured in this painting is one that I actually raised myself into a beautiful monarch. Raising monarchs, and butterflies of all species, is a big part of my life. So, I gain all my inspiration from my little caterpillar babies. They are my muses, models and, more importantly, my tiny friends. ^__^
