On sale The Lear Passport Cover

This is a passport cover - it holds a passport and a few cards. its not typical, its not run of on sale the mill.

It is made from heavy weight 10oz veg tan leather, hot stuffed, from Europe. This leather is intense, super thick but with a nice pliable and friendly warm feel to it. I only had one small piece of this material and so.... this is it, once its gone, its gone.

The coloration is something I really am happy with. I've been experimenting with different ways of coloring my work - and this is one great looking piece of art - i think i got it with this unit. The colors are intense

The closure strap has got a penny (1964 vintage) as a snap head with a killer brass concho on the back.

It is lined with some beautiful chrome tanned garment leather, the same that Langlitz Leathers uses - as are the pockets soft stuff and - tough stuff.

It's an heirloom, you will pass down if it doesn't get lost.

I also make knife and tool sheaths from heavy weight vegetable tanned cowhide. I've made guitar straps, leashes and wristbands - all with a different look and design as your commonly used to seeing. If you're looking for something you don't see, ask. I am always up for a challenge, within reason.
