Needle Felted Chickadee, approximately 4 inches long, and 2.5 inches tall. Each Chickadee is handmade over the course of several days, and meticulously crafted with much attention to detail in order to achieve a high level of realism. A wide array of reference photos of varying angles are used in the process to optimize the likeness of the finished product.
This little chickadee is made entirely of lambs wool, with the exception of his legs and beak, which are hand-sculpted from polymer clay, and painted in acrylics. He would be a lovely addition to any felt bird collection or could just be displayed sweetly on a shelf to enjoy! Please handle with care, as these sculptures on sale are not intended for use as toys, and are quite delicate.
