This is a listing for a rare Victorian white ironstone English advertising potted meat pot.

Featuring rarely seen advertising for The Cunningham and De Fourier Company of London, this pot dates from the late 1800s/early 1900s.

This is a great example of this scarce advertising pot, featuring a clear black transfer print with the Cunningham and De Fourier Co logo framed in a ribbon banner with foliage detail.

The pot would have been used to sell the manufacturer's potted meats & bloater pastes.

Considered a throwaway item at the time it was produced, this pot is nonetheless in good clean condition. There is some light crazing and also some mild staining to the inside and base of the pot. However, overall it's a very clean example. There is however a chip to the to the top rim at the side but there are no hairline cracks.
