This original painting was created by my mother, Corinne Hodgson, entitled ‘'Soaring'. A beautiful painting combining embroidered stitch work on a painted canvas. This scene depicting a vibrant landscapes with stylized denim swallows flying freely throughout the piece.

Birds are one of my mother's favourite subjects! Painted in a lovely palette of turquoise, chartreuse, and beige and green highlighted with embroidered stitch work which adds another interesting layer to the painting; signed by the artist in chartreuse paint.

This was painted with acrylic paint on sale using a combination of palette knife and paint brush. The embroidered denim swallows add a wonderful element to the piece. The painting measures 12 X 12 inches square and is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas, the sides are 1 5/8 inches deep. The sides are painted so it can be hung with or without a frame. The hanging wire has been installed and it is ready to hang in your favourite space.

This beautiful landscape painting would make a wonderful addition to any home.
