Micro mosaic is an ancient art from dating back to the Roman Empire.
Wearing micro on sale mosaic jewelry in more modern times became popular during the
Grand Tour period (17th - 19th Century).

Members of rich European families would travel around Europe, taking in the
sights and cultures of different countries.

The brooch presented here is of vintage origin, around mid. 20-th Century, made
in Italy.

The micro mosaic is inlaid in Brass frame with basic pin back. The design is
classic colorful, lively and floral.

The brooch has normal minor wearing, no missing pieces. The pin back is a bit
twisted and wavy. In very good vintage condition!
