3D End Grain cutting board in Maple, Walnut, and Oak. One of the most challenging boards I have ever made. All four sides have a different design as you can see by the pics. The board is 13 1/2 (340) X 10 (250) A perfect size chopping board.
It is 40mm (1 5/8") thick. Generally a thicker board will hold together better.
The cutting board in the picture is the one you will receive.
According to a study conducted by the Food Research Institute at University of Wisconsin (1993), wooden cutting boards have been shown to be safer than plastic ones when it comes to harboring microbes such as E-Coli, listeria and salmonella. They're also easier on your knives; marble or plastic cutting surfaces, for instance, can dull edges rapidly.
We enjoy custom requests/orders, but this particular board is already made and ready on sale to ship. The pictures are of the board you will receive.

Finish is food grade mineral oil followed by a mineral oil beeswax mix. Care instructions are included.
