This crochet shawl/ scarf was handmade by me. It is wider and longer, so very decadent - luxurious for fall wrapping. I used a gorgeous novelty fiber that has a few different strands to it, which provide a wonderful texture. The yarn is rayon and acrylic, so is incredibly soft and has a lovely sheen. There are a couple of strands in the auburn brown family, and another strand that has blue, mauve,purple, green - but just tiny bits of those colors. I used a larger hook and a stitch pattern that is quite geometric in its lacy open-ness. I absolutely love the way this scarf turned out. This is a very neutral boho piece that will take you anywhere; a pretty extra layer. Wrap it in any number of ways to add a bit of elegance to a dull winter day. You could even fasten it with a vintage brooch!

I have also accented each end with a thick luxurious fringe of the same yarn, which gives some additional length, and movement.

Being a nurse, I also think this would make a fantastic and stylish "privacy cover" for breastfeeding mothers. Airy enough to on sale not be smothering, yet allows for a bit of privacy during mealtimes.

This "super scarf" measures a generous 64" long, plus the 8" fringe at each end makes a total length of 80". The width is a very cozy 9 1/2". It is happy to be loosely draped, or wrapped up tighter when the evening air is cooler. Wider scarves are in this season - and this piece fits the bill!

This yarn's content is rayon/acrylic. I recommend you hand wash this accessory in cool water, mild detergent, roll it gently in a fluffy towel to absorb most of the moisture, and allow it to air dry.
