These hats are handmade from Faraon sides.
This is a 3-4oz chrome-tanned and distressed cowhide leather with a firm temper and very little stretch. These cowhide sides have been treated with waxes to make them water-resistant.
The red variant has the brim lined with black cherry Volcanic leather, a firm-tempered, waxy, chrome tanned leather. Hand stitched with 0.8mm premium Ritza Tiger Thread in Beetroot Red.
The blue variant has the brim lined with blue suede, and hand stitched with 0.8 mm premium Ritza Tiger Thread in Egyptian Blue.
Each hat has a chocolate brown hatband with an antiqued brass buckle.
The brim is 2.5 inches wide, and the crown is 4.5 inches tall.
The 2 finished hats in the photos are size 7 1/2 in the US.

Measurement is made with on sale a soft tape, above the ears as in the picture above.
Leather, once cut, cannot be undone. Measure twice, order once. If you order slightly undersize, there are hat stretchers available.
All leather goods I sell are handmade by me. Being handmade, and like any art, there minor differences and/or imperfections and no 2 pieces will be 100% identical. That said, these are hand made with a focus on quality & longevity.
