End-grain on sale cutting board

Hand-made end-grain cutting board. The checkerboard pattern is made by alternating mahogany and cherry wood. The finish is mineral oil - no stains, no polyurethanes, no paints. The board is 12 3/4" wide, 8 3/4" deep, and 1 1/4" thick. Since it's a mineral oil finish, you will need to on sale condition it once a month to once every two months by simply cleaning it thoroughly then applying a coat of mineral oil with a soft rag. The end-grain cutting surface will not only help reduce wear and tear on your knives, but also gives the board somewhat self-healing properties so that cuts and scratches will be less evident, and may even disappear over time if they're small and shallow enough.
