This rare and very old item is built to look like a miniature grandfather clock and was made to house a pocket watch. I'm unsure of the exact age, however, it's very old and dates to the 1800s.
This was one of two watch tower/hutches purchased out of an estate collection in Atlanta Georgia.

It's unlike anything I've ever seen before in all my years of buying and selling antiques. It measures approximately 13 1/4 inches tall, 3 3/8 inches wide, and 2 3/4 inches deep.
It's a really nice little handcrafted piece of furniture that looks like walnut and it's been stained nicely and is ready to hang a little watch inside if you'd like.
I would call this good antique condition given the age, authenticity, and rarity of the piece. It's free from any apparent damage or repair with the only exception of a little crack in the wood above the opening for the watch in the front.
