Original antique copper engravings that were hand-colored at publication engraving from the 1758-73 editions of 'Pomologia' (actually Applea and Pears) by Johann Hermann Knoop. A well-known Dutch work on fruit and domestic horticulture where all fruit is named in the image. Drawn by Johann Hermann Knoop (c.1700-1769). Engraved by Jacob Folkema (1692-1767) and J.M. CONDITION ISSUES:- These on sale are on early hand made laid paper and would be way better if laid to board ie spay glue tacked down. These are all slightly faulted and as a 'dealers lot' to mount frame have a nice margin within them as about a third of normal price
