Burmese Peridot and Sterling Silver Necklace Choker/ Burma Peridot Pendant Necklace/

Peridot is the birthstone for August, and the gemstone for gifting on the 16th wedding anniversary. That on sale doesn't mean the rest of us can't enjoy the beauty, ownership, and benefits of wearing this magnificent stone if we don't fit in either of those categories.

This necklace measures 16 inches long, and has five bezel mounted stones linked together then connected by a curb chain with a spring ring fastener that is marked 925 (sterling). The brilliant stones have fully open backs, and measure 7mm long by 4.5mm wide and 2.5mm deep. All links are hand soldered.

Peridot has been traditionally mined from St. John's Island (also known as Zebirget) off the coast of Egypt, from Pakistan, Burma, Arizona USA and recently in some locations in China.

This unique stone is the only stone other than diamond that is volcanic, and Burma peridot is even finer in color, size, and brilliance than from any other location.
