Antique Victorian Edwardian Cummerbund Belt, Sash with Poured Amethyst Glass Gumdrop Cabochons // on sale 26", purple Gripoix, ivory satin waistband

A vintage treasure... Ivory colored silk satin belt on sale is decorated with amethyst glass and soutache braid. It closes with hooks & eyes. Would fit a 26" waist but could be extended by another 3/4" if hooks were moved. Measures about 27" long and about 2.25" at its widest point in center. All hand sewn. Was possibly part of a wedding ensemble.

Shows light soil from wear and storage. There is a small amount of corrosion on some of the the metal parts that hold the glass. I did not attempt to clean them- see photos.

Overall in Good to Very Good condition.
