The Pastel Japanese Blue Peonies and Black Dogwood is inspired by Japanese Spring. I picked pastel blue colors to accentuate the delicate softness of shimmery silk Charmeuse scarf. The design is hand painted by me in the Japanese Sumi Painting Style. The black painting of Spring Dogwood Flowers add the crispness to the elegant light blue flowers.

Charmeuse silk has a soft muted crepe on the back side and shiny lustrous satin on the top side. It is heavier and more substantial than satin scarf, has a firm, soft, supple hand and a luxuriously heavy drape.

This hand painted silk scarf I created is a very only one on this planet. I never use guides. I always paint by hand, and never use stencils. If I ever paint a same design again, it will never be the same look.
