The Koru is my very favorite symbol. I love it for it's graceful shape (that also resembles a wave), but I love it even more for its symbolism. The Koru (pronounced Koh-Doo) is based on the Maori Koru Fern, as it opens up and unfurls. It represents "New Life" or "New Beginning". It also stands for "Circle of Life" or "Eternity", making it a perfect gift between family or friends.

This hand-hammered 14k Gold-Filled bangle features a large 9mm-10mm black freshwater pearl that I have secured to stay right beside the hand-formed Koru. This bracelet closes with a hook closure that attaches to the outside coil of the Koru. You may choose between STERLING SILVER ($65) and 14K GOLD-FILLED ($75-Shown).

At checkout, please select your SIZE. This size is your WRIST SIZE IN on sale INCHES (with no extra space between your wrist and the tape measure). ***This is your WRIST size, NOT a slip-on bangle size.***

SMALL - Fits wrists measuring 6" to 6 1/4".

MEDIUM - Fits wrists measuring 6 1/2" to 6 3/4".

LARGE - Fits wrists measuring 7" to 7 1/2".

If you are unsure, or need another size, feel free to leave your ACTUAL MEASURED WRIST SIZE in inches in the "Notes to Seller" section at checkout. To do this, I would need your wrist measurement with no extra space between your wrist and the tape measure. I can then make you a custom bangle based on your measurements.

This bangle is made of heavy 14-gauge 14k gold-filled wire that I hand-hammered for extra sparkle. THIS IS NOT A SOLDERED CLOSED BANGLE. You do NOT need to slip this bracelet over your entire hand/knuckles. For your convenience, this bangle has a little formed hook closure that can be opened up to allow it to be slipped directly onto your wrist. I prefer this style because I have large hands and the traditional soldered-closed bangles wind up being way too big on my wrist once I get it over my knuckles. With this style, you are able to wear a smaller size, thus allowing the bangle to fit closer on your wrist. These also look great stacked together and also paired with other bangles you may already have.

HINT: These bangles are made to be a little more fitted than traditional slip-on bangles. If you are getting this bangle to be paired with other slip-on bangles you already have, you might want to consider ordering the next size UP. :0)
