The sleeves are a classic Medieval 'trumpet shape', trimmed at the hem with an ornate gupuire braid. The sweeping neckline is also finished with a decorative braid detail. The stunning feature of this gown is the dramatic hood that falls into deep folds around the shoulders. The hood is fully lined out in velvet and can be worn up or down.
