Handmade ceramic beads, each pearl is shaped by hand and then fired, after the first firing process the beads are glazed or painted and then fired again.
Kazuri works according to the Fair Trade Principles of the WFTO (World Fairtrade Organisation)
The manufactory is located on the outskirts of Nairobi, near Karen Blixen Farm. There work mainly single mothers, they get a wage that secures the livelihood and support in medical care.
