Lophocereus marginatus cristata is a crested form of the beautiful Mexican Fencepost Cactus. These cacti are highly sought after, because Mexican fencepost cacti are typically columnar on sale and almost never crest. Crested growth is caused by a mutation in the cellular division of the plant. The plant in the photos is the exact cactus for sale. It's shown in a 5” grower's pot.
