This is a most fascinating gold covered book from 1937 produced on the Coronation of KIng George VI and includes a separate programme.
It also timelines the history on the abdication of King Edward and features history on his meeting Mrs Simpson, the lady he would later marry.
There are many wonderful photos of the actual Coronation Day and many descriptions. A fabulous historical book as it features many prominent people of the day
It also shows delightful pictures of the late Queen Elizabeth II and her sister and mother.
Now the condition - the condition overall is excellent - please see the attached photos - the book is in perfect condition with the spine intact and no wear or tear to the back or front cover or spine. The pages are pristine and no markings. The separate programme also, is in excellent condition and looks like it has never been used. There is no tarnish inside from staples or anything else, just perfect.
