Early 20th Century Trinket on sale Box

Store your treasures in this elegant little portrait box. The understated elegance is lovely. The portrait is subtle and beautiful. The metal has just enough patina. Lined with green velvet and marked "France" on the on sale lid, it's in remarkable shape for it's age. Apparently these are sometimes referred to as "jewelry caskets." That takes it up a notch, doesn't it? Banish the thought! I say fill it with pearls or tiny vials of love potions.
