400 Animal Clay Basket with two African Vultures Basket High-Fired 15"(H) x6"(D) x5" (W) is a one-of-a-kind gorgeous clay basket with handsculpted animals vultures. This basket is high-fired with a shino glaze that produces a range of lovely colors in on sale temperatures of around 2200 degrees. The vultures and the top handle were painted with white and green engobes that give a vibrancy to this piece. The basket was thrown and altered, the handles and the vultures were handsculpted. I then pulled out the sidewalls of the basket to give the textures visual interest. This basket can hold candies, grapes, cherries, or can serve as a planter indoors or outdoors. This African animal vulture sculpted and thrown basket would make a lovely gift for any special person in your life!
