Product code: Laura Ashley Roses & Cottage Flowers Ironing Board Cover | Flowers in Coral, Blue, and Sage Green | on sale Fits Boards to 18 Inches Wide

This beautiful ironing board cover is made from an out-of-print authentic Laura Ashley English Country fabric. The vibrant design features roses, peonies, clematis, and other flowers in shades of coral (or salmon), blue, and sage green.

•PLEASE NOTE: The photos show the cover on an 18-inch wide board, so less of the design will show along the sides on a 15-inch board (see next-to-last photo). The cover fits wider boards up to 18 inches across and Is generously cut even for wider board, as well as standard 15-inch wide boards.
•Constructed with a coordinating bright coral solid color bias binding edge, separately stitched to each side of the cover; elastic drawstring that will not stretch out or break; and a cord lock closure. Instructions for getting a smooth, tight fit included with each cover purchased.
•Cover is not padded; it should be used over a pad (see recommendations below)
•Out-of-print fabric, unused fabric in pristine condition
•Durable drapery weight fabric with a smooth weave, perfect for ironing
•Cotton fabric, treated with soil and stain release finish; can be machine washed in cool water and line dried (washing removes the finish); can also be dry cleaned professionally or with home dry cleaning sheets

A NOTE ABOUT IRONING BOARD PADS AND PADDING: I used to make ironing board covers with attached pads. Then I discovered with my own covers that the cover wears and washes much better without a pad, so I started making all my covers without pads. There are a number of good padding choices, including wool felt (my favorite), Insul-Bright, and cotton batting (which many quilters use but seems to fall apart for me). (Polyester batting and felt do not work well, because they do not withstand the high temperatures of an iron.) You can make a no-sew pad out of any of these just by cutting a piece a little larger than the top of your ironing board. If you use one of my covers, the elastic edge on the cover will hold your pad in place.
