Biedermeier on sale pedestal vase crystal cased glass

Pedestal beaker from the Biedermeier period (1815-1848). The vase is made of crystal and is made using the overlay technique. The outer layer consists of blue crystal glass, the inner glass is colorless. It was generously worked with cut-through decor, these areas where the colorless glass comes to light were hand-painted with gold and floral decor. A wide gold ring is attached to the glass at the top.

The vase is in good condition, but there is a scratch about 7 cm long on the on sale inside.
