This item is an antique Warrior Association Flensburg 1870 medal

The medal was awarded during the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm on sale II in 1870 for the Franco-Prussian war and is a German medal

The medal has a gold coloured coating with a grey and blue ribbon and is used but has visible signs of ageing and wear to the medal and what looks like a repair to the ribbon

The medal measures has the following measurements:

Medal width: 2.9cm in diameter;

Medal length 3.5cm (including loop) x 2mm (depth);

Ribbon: 2.1cm (wide);

Medal length (including ribbon): 7.6cm (edge to edge)
