Our clocks are lovingly made by hand, one at a time. What you see in the photo is the clock you will receive. The quartz clock movements are very quiet, so there is no annoying ticking sound!
This clock is made with blue stain pine. Blue pine is beetle kill pine that has been harvested from our evergreen forests. The blue/gray stain that comes from the beetle infestation makes the wood unique and beautiful. Harvesting these trees removes dead wood than can contribute to wildfires and helps to maintain healthy forests. The beetles do not weaken or contaminate the wood, and the fungi is actually burnt away during the kiln drying process. Beautiful, eco-friendly blue stain pine is the result! I love the way this wood looks and feels, and I think you will love it as much as I do.
We remove the hands from on sale our clocks to protect them from shipping damage. We include easy hand assembly instructions with the clock. Each clock requires one AA battery (not included).
