Cactus Flowers and original hand pulled monoprint on sale etching

5x7 inch mono print etching on 8x10 inch cotton rag paper.

I first drypoint etched a line drawing of cactus ears with blooms into repurposed plastic blister packaging. Then on sale I scraped ink into the etched lines and wiped excess ink off the surface. I used oil paints to add color and texture. Finally I ran the plate through my etching press to transfer the media onto Stonehenge 100% cotton paper.

Please keep in mind that these prints, because hand colored, will have slight variations.
