This piece of art came from the local estate of a doctor that passed away many years ago. He was an avid collector and investor in the Kentucky Derby horse races in the 1950s and 60s. This piece of art came from the auction, but no information is known. It is a watercolor painting done on grid paper with obvious lines and practice marks. It has been professionally framed with double matting. on sale The family and auctioneer did remove the paper covering off the back in an effort to find any information knowing that the doctor had multiple pieces of original valuable artwork.
