For Le Garde-Meuble which was a bi-monthly magazine published in Paris between 1839 and 1935, covering all aspects of French style interior design. You will find here a selection of chairs, arm chairs and sofas in a variety of styles, all beautifully coloured, with details about the manufacturers of the fabric and trimmings.
Printed and Hand coloured Circa 1866. Partly heightened with gum Arabic. (water colour varnish).
Paper Size is approximately 10 1/4 x 13 3/4 inches. (26.4 x 35 cm)
The condition is good. The paper is a nice warm white. There is some dustiness to the paper Please see image for more detail.
Remember that the colours may vary due to your monitor settings.
