This pen features a very smooth, button-click operation and is crafted to last a lifetime. It uses a Parker style ballpoint pen refill (one is already included in the pen) and its accented with extremely durable and exquisite black titanium and titanium gold plating.

Often, a highly sought after and expensive wood, pink ivory is reputed to be as scarce as Gaboon ebony. Some have rumored it to be “rarer than diamonds.” Others report that the tree is relatively common in parts of South Africa although straight and defect-free trees are still scarce. Its color can range from a pale, brownish pink to a bright, almost neon pink color which usually makes it even more valuable. The on sale sapwood (wood closer to the bark) tends to favor a pale yellow to light brown. According to folklore, pink ivory is considered royal to the Zulus in South Africa.

On the pen's wooden body, I use an extensive sanding process followed by a museum-quality, hand-rubbed finish giving it an incredible sheen and luxurious feel. I also provide detailed instructions for easy care & maintenance.
