Vintage Original Watercolor Painting of a Snowy Winter Landscape Signed J Chapman in Simple Gold Frame -Evergreen on sale Cedar Juniper Trees

This is a vintage original watercolor painting of a snowy Winter landscape with a single evergreen sapling as the focal point. The tree is almost buried in a drift of snow and appears to be pine or spruce. Snow is still coming down, and in the background, out of focus, is a stand of larger trees. The painting has been signed on the lower right by the artist J. Chapman. The painting is from approximately 1980, but the mat and frame are newer. I replaced the original old faded mat and chipped frame with the denim-blue mat and slim gold wood frame you see in the pictures. There is glass in the frame and a metal loop on back for hanging. I put a double thickness of acid-free art paper between the painting and the back of the frame.

Condition: The painting and frame are in very good condition.

Dimensions: Approximately 12 inches by 15 inches as framed on sale. The matted painting will fit a standard 11 inch by 14 inch frame, should you wish to put it in a different frame.
